Most of the time we’re stuck, we’re not stuck in the situation itself. We’re stuck in one way of looking at it. Cognitive reframing, a technique used widely in coaching and therapy, is simply the practice of deliberately trying on other frames. Not to minimize what’s hard, but to find what a single perspective might be hiding.
